EMPOWERMENT
Building skills, confidence and pathways towards greater self-reliance.
F&B Entrepreneur
Development (FED)
Empowering Communities Through Food Skills & Opportunities
Food Entrepreneurship Development (FED) is Food Aid Foundation’s empowerment programme designed to equip individuals with practical culinary skills and entrepreneurship knowledge to improve their livelihood opportunities.
While food assistance provides immediate support to communities in need, Food Aid Foundation believes that lasting impact comes from creating opportunities for individuals to build skills, confidence, and pathways towards greater self-reliance.
Where the FED journey began.
From Immediate Support
to Lasting Opportunity.
FED was initiated at the end of 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, a period when many individuals and families faced challenges due to job and income disruptions.
Recognising that communities needed more than short-term assistance, Food Aid Foundation expanded its efforts beyond food support by creating opportunities for skills development, employability, and food-based entrepreneurship.
